RADICAL SR3 RSX Starting at $99,900*
Since 2002 the SR3 has been providing drivers thrilling, cost-effective, high-performance track driving and racing, and now the SR3 RSX with its dramatic styling, improved aerodynamics and extended durability will blow you away in a sports car package that’s faster over any lap, easier to drive and cost even less to run than before.
First launched in 2002, the SR3 is the world’s most successful sports-racer, with over 900 satisfied customers. The SR3 RSX has been carefully developed to incorporate a show-stopping new look and latest-generation LMP aerodynamics into the proven, lightweight and high-performance SR3 powertrain packages available with Supersport 1500cc or 1340cc engines.
Over 900 SR3s are in daily use for racing and trackdays from Australia and the Middle East, to the Nevada Desert and Western Africa. All enjoying low operating costs and exceptional reliability while offering a true taste of Le Mans and Formula racing car performance.
Historically, the Radical SR3 has provided the largest and most popular racing class in the North American Masters series, and is also the most popular Radical model among WISKO clients. The reliability, performance, cost and smiles-per-mile are all undeniable. The SR3 is also eligible for SCCA P2 and NASA class racing which puts versatility at the top of the menu for the SR3.
RADICAL SR8 Starting at $149,900*
The SR8 is Radical’s proven V8-powered racer and it provides the definitive visceral driving experience. Back by popular demand, and even more mind-bending then ever before.
Physics-defying grip, relentless acceleration and powerful brakes add up to a two-seater track car that can lap Silverstone in the same time as a Formula 3 single-seater – but at a fraction of the price. The SR8’s styling and chassis have been developed to comply with FIA CN class regulations, homologating the SR8 for international competition well into the future.
RPE’s acclaimed 2.7-litre RPX V8 engine develops an incredible 430bhp and powers the SR8 through a unique RPE/Quaife six-speed transaxle. Coupled with the RPE paddleshift system and auto-blipper, flat upshifts and clutchless downshift are part of the package. This was the same specification used by Michael Vergers to set the production car lap record around the fearsome Nürburgring Nordschleife in August 2009. This longstanding flagship of the Radical range is the most thrilling yet easily manageable track and racing car available.
RXC SPYDER ECOBOOST Starting at $174,900*
The RXC Spyder is Radical’s new flagship racing car offering an experience closer to LMP competition than ever before – at a purchase and running cost far below the competition.
Using the latest generation technology shared with the RXC coupe including a new seven-speed paddleshift gearbox and variable-assistance power steering, the RXC Spyder enjoys larger dimensions than the current SR8 RX, allowing for a bigger and more generously-appointed cockpit than any previous open Radical and with a greater range of driving aids and benefits than previously available.
RADICAL RXC GT3 Starting at $244,900*
The new in 2016 RXC Turbo GT3 is now approved and homologated for National GT3 competition, opening the gates to a wide range of championships and racing opportunities.
This latest addition to Radical’s longstanding racing ladder means that drivers can now progress all the way from trackday rookie – in the entry-level SR1 – through the domestic racing ranks in the SR3 RSX and onto top-level GT racing with the RXC Turbo GT3.
Radical has already gained acceptance for entry from the following championships, with more to announce in due course including International GT Open, Supercar Challenge, Creventic 24Hr Series, Britcar, VdeV, Bute Motorsport Prototype Series, NARRA USA GT.
Its a complete package to contend in the North American Radical Masters Championship. It is also eligible to contend many more domestic and international championships – discussions are ongoing to confirm entry elsewhere. The RXC Turbo GT3 can also race in the Coupe Class of the Radical European Masters, the flagship Continental championship visiting the iconic venues of Estoril, Spa-Francorchamps, Paul Ricard, Silverstone, Donington Park, Monza and Jerez in 2016. It’s the ultimate do-it-all GT car – with purchase and operating costs far below the opposition.
RADICAL SR1 Starting at $69,900*
Designed for enthusiasts looking to take their high performance circuit driving to the next level with a focused sports-racing car, the SR1 concept wraps up the Radical ownership experience into one easy package with a comprehensive standard specification that is ideal for trackdays and club motorsport, including circuit racing, hillclimbs and sprints.
The SR1’s LMP-inspired styling is no accident. Developed by the same team that created Radical’s SR9 LMP2 racecar, the SR1 mirrors current prototype design, while the two-seater cockpit is ideal for professional driving tuition, or even entertaining business partners and friends. Powered by the exceptionally reliable, 185bhp RPE-Suzuki four-cylinder engine – used to great effect in a wide range of Radical’s existing products – the SR1 features a six-speed sequential gearbox as standard (with Radical’s famous paddleshift system as an option) and a Quaife ATB differential ensuring very high levels of grip and control.
Braking is provided by 240mm, 30-vane ventilated discs with four-pot calipers that generate exceptional stopping power. Occupants are protected by a comprehensive safety cell and deformable crash structure tested to FIA standards, racing-specification harnesses and an integral fire extinguisher system. Latest-generation sportscar aerodynamics mean that the SR1 sticks to the track like only a Radical can, with grip limits far beyond the realms of its market rivals thanks to Radical-specific Dunlop tires.
